The apartment at Riverside Retreat was just what I needed for a relaxing getaway. The separate bedroom provided a cozy and quiet space for a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was a huge plus, ensuring that I was not disturbed by any outside noise. And having an oven meant that I could easily prepare meals whenever I wanted.
One thing I liked less was that the apartment had only one separate bedroom. But hey, some people might still find it perfect!

Loved the well-equipped and comfortable accommodation. Had everything we needed for our romantic escape. the bed was super cozy and everything was spotlessly clean. the outdoor seating area would have been a great place to enjoy a romantic dinner if the weather had cooperated. loved the helpful suggestions from the owner on nearby restaurants.
That the only access to the toilet was through the bathroom, which wasn't ideal. It would have been nice to have a separate entrance.

We had a fantastic stay at a cozy and comfortable retreat just outside Fort William. The hosts were very hospitable and gave us great advice on restaurants and walks, including the excellent Ben Nevis Inn. The facilities were exceptionally clean and well thought out, with a stocked kitchen and a private patio area with views of Ben Nevis. The location was perfect, with quiet surroundings and plenty of walks and cycle tracks nearby. The bedroom had a wonderful view of the neighboring mountains, making for a beautiful and quiet escape.

Riverside Retreat offers a cozy and comfortable stay with great views of Ben Nevis and the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen, stocked with milk, eggs, and cereal, allows for a self-catering experience. The comfy bed and plenty of towels and blankets provide a relaxing atmosphere. The friendly owner, Scott, provides excellent communication and even suggests scenic walks and local dining options.
The water pressure in the shower could be stronger, but this is a minor inconvenience.

We loved the warm welcome and helpful suggestions from the staff. The house itself was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and we enjoyed the self-catering aspect. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring Glencoe and taking a scenic train ride over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct.
The sofa bed was a bit uncomfortable and noisy. However, for a short stay, it was perfectly fine.
